How Long do the Workouts Take?
You’ll be dedicating 4 days per week to your workouts. The workouts take between 45 minutes to an hour when you include your warmup, finishers or abs and any stretching. In Phase 2, you’ll only have 3 days of strength training and one shorter cardio day.
Is this Program Hard?
Not at all. Like everything, you will get out of it what you put into it and you’ll have to do the work to see the results! But the workouts and meal plans are laid out in a very easy to follow manner.
Can I do it at home?
If you have weights and equipment at home, you absolutely can – but you will find it easiest if you are at the gym. If you want to do it at home, you will need dumbbells, a swiss ball, bands (or a cable pulley system), a chin up bar, a barbell with weight plates, and a bench. Progressive overload, which is adding weight/resistance incrementally, is what gives you results quickly – so having access to weights that go up in small increments is ideal. Many of the exercises you can begin with at a very light weight or bodyweight, but as you get stronger you’ll want to add weight.
Is it only for experienced lifters or people who are already in great shape?
Not at all. You can start from any fitness level and experience great results. No matter how much experience you have, you will get in the best shape of your life. If you are an experienced lifter, you’ll love how rapidly you progress and how easily you can challenge yourself with this 2-phase program. If you’re a beginner, you’ll quickly master the exercises with the easy-to-follow video tutorials and make rapid progress.
What does a 2-Phase Program mean?
Having a 2-phase program means you get to focus on learning one complete 4 week program at a time. You’ll watch your strength increase and excess fat melt off your body as you build your foundation in Phase 1, then you’ll up the intensity and begin a brand new timing sequence that will take your results to the next level in Phase 2.
Will I bulk up?
It is VERY challenging to put on muscle mass in general. Even men, who have higher levels of testosterone, have to work hard to put on mass. So ladies, you are not going to get bulky just by adding heavier weights to your workouts. As you add lean muscle, your body burns more calories at rest – so you’ll be burning more fat and adding muscle. Weight lifting sculpts those beautiful body lines.
Are the meal plans easy to follow?
Yes, absolutely! Whether you’d like to just jump into the Quick Start Guide and use the meal plans as a reference or do food prep and set yourself up for the week using the grocery lists, you’ll have plenty of options. The foods in the system and the way they’re combined will help you feel energized and support the workouts you’ll be doing.
